Frustrated and alone, the boy battled against the wolf but managed to rescue only few of his sheep. Heartbroken, he returned to the village only to be met with a reprimand on honesty and the consequences of dishonesty.
His tale of this shepherd boy has been transmitted generations as a mediaeval parable to teaching the website importance of honesty, the consequences of lying and the dangers of false alarms.
